Philip S. Miller Park, Castle Rock, CO

Team Lupine Racing just finished doing a pre-ride for Erock Sunrise to Sunset at the new Philp S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, Colorado.  Sunday we will be at the Subaru Elephant Rock Bike Festival as well. We will have some riders racing the both events. As you turn up the canyon and round the bend this park really reveals itself. While phase 2 construction is still under way it was still busy with families and outdoor enthusiast. It features a doom covered pool and rec center, a 2.5 hour zip line tour (10 zips in total with the longest at over 1500 feet), and soon to be over 8 miles of flowy single track.
Areas of the trails feature tight hard turns and some fast zippy downhills. The intersections can be tricky as there are trail head entrances that you may find yourself overshooting on to. Parts of the Purple Trail have some pretty exposed sections which will get your blood flowing and hairs raised, and the views are just front range perfect.

If you forgo the bike or just want to add some interval stair exercise..hit the 200 step mini incline. All and all the park is well thought out, trails are conditions go from hard packed to cat litter wash but they are lots of fun. Pump park to come...see you at Erock.
